    • Abijah had two plantations when he died in 1811.  This one in Claiborne County and Huntley Plantation in Jefferson County.  He sold another plantation he also had in Claiborne County in 1808 that was located on the north branch of the Bayou Pierre complete with 61 slaves, livestock and farming tools.   Abijah may have had a fourth plantation at some point in Adams County.  For now it is being called Hunt Plantation until it can be determined if it actually existed.
